Juniper Retreat imagines a second home organized around simple seasonal rituals: arriving with muddy boots, opening the house to summer air, bathing beside a quiet view, and gathering outside under cover when the weather turns. The rooms remain direct and generous, with circulation kept clear and storage placed where routines actually begin.
Rather than imitate a rustic vocabulary, the concept works with low-contrast natural color, durable thresholds, and a small set of materials repeated inside and out. The result is intended to feel calm when occupied and complete when left quiet between visits.

The concept moves between an intimate bathing room and a covered outdoor space, extending the useful life of the retreat across weather and seasons.
Material story
A palette made for crossing thresholds
Juniper-toned timber carries warmth from the rooms toward the terrace. Clay tile accommodates wet boots and summer dust, wool softens the quieter spaces, and darkened steel gives exposed edges a precise, durable finish. The junctions matter as much as the surfaces: transitions are simple, legible, and made to be used.
